We welcome you to Casa Grande, Arizona’s Passion Play ministry. Please join your hearts together with ours as we proclaim and exalt the Divinity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ (John 1:1-14; Colossians 1:15-17). We are vessels of the Trinity going forth to exclaim the Truth to our community and beyond (Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; John 1:1-14).
As we come together, we stand with the belief that Jesus Christ was God in human form, willing to accept the call to this world and share his heart in Word and deed (Philippians 2:5-8; John 1:14; Hebrews 2:14-15; 1 Timothy 2:5). His anguish in the Garden of Gethsemane (Matthew 26:36-46), His sacrifice on the cross as He bore our sins for the salvation of mankind (John 3:16; 2 Corinthians 5:21), and let us not forget the glorious resurrection and victory of our risen Savior (Matthew 28:1-10) are the precepts of our faith.
This is who we are as a Passion Play family. These are the beliefs we encompass as we share the Love story of Jesus.
Our Purpose
Passion Play AZ is dedicated to presenting the life of Jesus Christ through a musical drama, emphasizing His ministry, crucifixion, resurrection, and ascension. Our mission is to offer a contemporary interpretation that speaks of second chances and forgiveness to all.
Our Journey
Starting as a large Easter pageant on the East Coast. The Passion Play made its way to Casa Grande, Arizona in 2024 and has been building up steam since. This production brings together Christian churches from the entire city of Casa Grande and the surrounding areas to tell the life-giving story of Jesus Christ.
