Seeing Yourself in the Story: Are You Peter, Mary, the Prodigal Son, or the Crowd?

One of the most powerful aspects of the Passion Play is this: it invites you to see yourself in the story.
Are you like Peter—full of faith, yet sometimes struggling with fear and a broken
promise?
Are you like Mary—steadfast, loving, and present even in the hardest, heart-breaking
moments?
Are you like the prodigal son—seeking your way back home?
Or are you part of the crowd—watching, unsure, caught between belief and doubt?
The truth is, at different times in our lives, we may be all of them.

And that’s what makes this story so personal.
It’s not just something that happened long ago—it’s something that speaks to us right where we are today.
We all have a story. We may have an encounter with the Risen Lord, or we may not serve Him at all. The beauty of our Lord is that ALL is forgiven, and you are washed as white as snow. Jesus may be saying to you today, “Come all you who are carrying a heavy burden and I WILL give you rest.”
Let’s walk this journey together, encouraging one another as we seek the Lord. This is what the Passion Play is all about… Jesus is not looking for perfection in our lives. He just wants us to come home. Join the Passion Play family and experience an amazing encounter with Jesus.
