Holy Week, or Passion Week, is a momentous time in our Christian life as we observe the final days of Jesus’s life, along with the crucifixion and resurrection. The Arizona Passion Play, also known as the Casa Grande Passion Play, is a prelude to Resurrection Sunday.  It is purposefully presented before Easter and serves to deepen our faith as we reflect on the sacrifice of our Savior, yet rejoice in the glorious last days of Jesus’s life.

Pinnacle events are highlighted each year with observance of Palm Sunday and the jubilation of Jesus entering Jerusalem, Maundy Thursday and the sharing of our Lord’s Last Supper, Good Friday representing Jesus’s crucifixion and Easter Sunday joyously celebrating our Risen Lord.

It is our prayer that you follow along in the journey of Jesus our Savior and Lord with our annual Passion Play, as well as take personal time to hear the whispers of our God as we grow in His Love.
