How 63 People Became One Powerful Story

At first, it was just a group of individuals. In 1985, our very first Passion Play in a remote 25 acre farm in Independence, West Virginia, only had 17 people from diverse backgrounds and churches—each with their own schedules, personalities, and experiences.

But over time, something incredible happened. A movement of God was stirring and after 3 humble and anointed years in West Virginia, God moved the Passion Play to Westminster, Maryland. The number of cast members grew to around 25 people. Creativity abounded. The story of hope couldn’t be silenced and for the next 6 years the towns and neighboring states swarmed the hills to witness our Lord’s life in drama and music.

After a 27 year hiatus, our faithful God resurrected His Passion Play to reach the mountains of Casa Grande, Arizona. 2026 was our 3rd year of ministry and now 66 people shared a life-giving purpose.

Through a lot of teamwork, those individuals begin to move as one. Scenes start to flow.

Emotions align. The story comes alive—not through one person, but through all of them together.

It takes trust. It takes patience. And it takes a shared commitment to something greater than personal recognition.

In the end, it’s no longer about 66 separate people.

It’s one unified voice, telling one powerful story that has the ability to move hearts and change lives.

Become one more !!! One more who brings the heart of Jesus to our community. Let’s make a difference together.
